What is a credit report?
A credit report is any written, oral, or other communication of information issued by a credit reporting agency concerning a consumer's credit worthiness, standing, capacity, character, general reputation, personal characteristics or mode of living. It includes information provided to the credit reporting agency by companies that have a business relationship with the borrower or that collect data on such relationships.
